Enjugará Jehová El Señor Toda Lágrima De Todos Los Rostros

Mi Familia,

Well this week was very good. We had Guadalupe's baptism and it was a great service. A lot of people showed up. The family had been waiting for a long time for her to get baptized. The service was full of tears.

Guadalupe with her two Grandsons, Rolando and Lamoni

We had two investigators with baptismal dates go to the baptism - Humberto and Ramiro. Humberto is so awesome - I think I talked about him last week. He went to church again and we might move his date up for this week. He is already ready. He always talks about his baptism and is studying hard. Ramiro is a police officer that we also found contacting. He wants to change his life, he used to drink a lot and beat his wife. We talked to them about getting married yesterday so we will see how that turns out.

Guadalupe with some of her family

We found another good family because a member of the ward next to us talked with a young man who was working. His name is Patricio. He said that he killed someone and wants to repent. We talked to him once with his parents, so didn't get to talk to him too much (at all) about that.

The biggest staircase in San Cris (I think)

We are working hard and we are seeing a lot of progress in the zone and that is special. This week we are going to have our zone conference so we are trying to get everything ready for that.

Guadalupe's parents that got baptized about 30 years ago - Micaela and Nicolas. They are the oldest people I have ever met. Nicolas is about 104. Birth certificates didn't exist where they lived at that time, so it's an estimate. Micaela is not far behind. They are sealed in the temple.

Well not too much more to report. Things are really good. I love you all and miss you. I hope you have a great week!

Con Amor,

Elder Riley Stevenson

Good times. This brings back such good memories of my time in Mexico (Veracruz). I miss the humble people with such great faith.
